Scientific and post-graduate work

Having successfully graduated does not mean you must leave the faculty and the intensive preoccupation with the issues of economics and management in relation to technology must end. The faculty is always open for talented and motivated scientific research assistants, that will be active in research and in teaching. The Leitfaden zum Aufgabenbereich wissenschaftliche(r) Mitarbeiter/
innen an der Fakultät VII (Wirtschaft und Management) der TU
defines the frame for scientific work in our faculty. In order to organize the post-graduate work of our research assitants more purposefully, we have named an appointee for doctoral candidates.

The faculty participates in stuctured Ph.D.-programs in Berlin, the DIW Gradute Center and the BDPEMS (Berlin Doctoral Program in Economics and Management Science), held by HU, FU, WZB and ESMT. MINE-Students can choose courses out of these programs within their master studies and apply for one of these programs after graduation.

The new doctoral program “Berlin Industrial Engineering and Management“ (BIEM) is offered by the Faculty.

Should you be interested in post-grad work at our faculty, speak to one of our professors. If you would like to know more about doctorate conferrals in general, please contact promotionen@tu-berlin.de.

Our library, Die Bibliothek Wirtschaft und Management, offers consulting for finding literature and publishing, managing research data as well as acquiring skills for information competence.

Especially for female doctoral candidates the faculty in coopreation with the appiontee for womens affairs arranges get-together-events vor scientific and industiell carreers and also the women's carreer week.
